Los Angeles, Calif. --- Placing 10th in the 3-meter springboard, San José State sophomore diver Kylie Fonseca finished with 458.95 points at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday, November 13, at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Fonseca scored 221.40 points on her preliminary dives and was placed 11th going into the final round. Spartans sophomore Cari Reiswig was 16th with 211.75 points after the preliminary round of diving and didn't not compete in the final round.
Maria Polyakova of UCLA earned a first place finish in the 3-meter competition with a total score of 580.10 points. The Trojan Invitational continues Saturday, November 14, at 11 p.m. with the women's 1-meter springboard.
