Dec. 10, 2015 San José State University sophomore punter Michael Carrizosa continued collecting honors Thursday as he was named to the second team Walter Camp All-America team. He is the first San José State football player to be named to a Walter Camp All-America team.Carrizosa, a justice studies major and the son of two career police officers, was the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) national leader for 10 of the first 12 weeks of the season and finished the regular season with a 47.7 average. He was the national leader for eight weeks through games played on October 31 and regained the top spot following games played on November 14.The sophomore from Salinas, Calif., is one of the most improved players in the country at his position.
