Dallas, Texas----- San Jose State University punter Michael Carrizosa picked up his latest All-America honor as a second-team All-America by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).
Carrizosa averaged a single-season school record 47.7 yards a punt during the regular season. He was the national leader in individual punting for 10 weeks en route to earning first-team All-Mountain West honors and spending last week at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show as a finalist for the Ray Guy Award as the country's best punter.
Recently, the sophomore from Salinas, Calif., became San Jose State's first Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America as a second-team selection and was named an honorable mention All-America by si.com.
