Los Angeles, Calif. --- Climbing five spots from the first round, San Jose State Spartans' sophomore diver Cari Reiswig finished eighth in platform on the final day of UCLA's Bruin Diving Invitational on Sunday.
Competing in platform diving for the first time this season, Reiswig scored 205.45 on her first five dives in the opening round to place 13th going into the finals. In the finals, Reiswig posted a score of 210.95 for a combined score of 416.40 after 10 dives to move into the eighth spot for San José State's best finish.
Sophomore Kylie Fonseca scored 174.74 in the preliminary round to place 26th out of 35 divers.
