Albuquerque, N.M. --- Makayla Webb lowered her personal-best in two events and set the school record in the 60-meter hurdles, again, to highlight San José State's opening day at the Don Kirby Invitational inside the Albuquerque Convention Center.Webb, a sophomore from Sacramento, Calif., clocked an 8.66 in the 60-hurdles, which passes her own school record set just two weeks ago at the Bronco Invitational.Webb also improved her personal-best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.23. Caitlin Wilson led the way for the Spartans in the event clocking a 24.66.Natalia Gutierrez led the Spartans in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.64 meters. She cleared 1.59 meters on the third and final attempt, and then it took just one try to get over at 1.64. The mark is just shy of San José State's season-best 1.65 meters by Kolbi Sims. Sims also participated in the high jump, and finished with a 1.59-meter jump.Cambree Harbaugh led the way in the long jump with a San José State season-best of 5.86 meters. Kelsey Johnson-Upshaw jumped 5.71 meters.The Spartans conclude the action tomorrow at the Don Kirby Invitational with some distance events as well as the triple jump.60-Meter Hurdles Prelims
