Feb. 13, 2016 Albuquerque, N.M. --- Nicole Iloanya jumped a new indoor personal record in the triple jump on Saturday to highlight the San José State women's track team's final day at the Don Kirby Invitational.Iloanya jumped 12.75 meters and finished in eighth place among a stacked field. Her mark is just shy of a lifetime best 12.97 meters, which she jumped last season in outdoor."This was definitely a highlight," said head coach Jeff Petersmeyer. "The top-five jumpers in the event today are all nationally ranked and she finished just a few spots behind them."Iloanya beat her previous season-best of 12.54 meters, which came at the Jackson's Open (12/12).The Spartans will return to the Albuquerque Convention Center in two short weeks for the Mountain West Championship (2/25-27)."This was a great meet for us to compete in," said Petersmeyer. "It was a really stacked field and I thought we competed well. We have a couple weeks to go back to practice and get better before the championships."Triple Jump
