SAN JOSE, Calif. – San José State’s women’s tennis team has moved up to No. 58 in the national rankings, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced today.
The Spartans (6-3) moved up two spots from last week’s position of No. 60. It mark’s the team’s highest ranking since it was positioned at No. 56 in April 2015. The team has graced the national rankings for all but one week during the 2016 dual match season.
San José State saw both of its matches rained out last week. The Spartans are back in action on Thursday, March 17, when it hosts the 35th-ranked University of Denver at 1:00 p.m.
