The San Jose State women's gymnastics team goes back on the road this week as the team travels to Boise State for a tri-meet Friday night against the Broncos and Southern Utah at Taco Bell Arena. The meet begins at 7 p.m. MST/6 p.m. PST.
This is the second meeting of the season between the Spartans and Broncos. Boise State won a dual meet at The Event Center, 196.275-193.700 on February 12. San José State and Southern Utah last competed against each other last season as the Spartans traveled to Cedar City, Utah. The Thunderbirds won the meet, 195.375-193.975, on February 6, 2015.

The Spartans are coming off a 194.925 score this past Sunday against UC Davis and Brown in the team's final home meet of the season. Junior Rachel Heinl was named the MPSF Specialist of the Week after winning the bars with a 9.800 and tying for fourth on vault with a 9.800.
San Jose State returns to competition in Northern California next week for the team's final meet of the season. The 2016 MPSF Women's Gymnastics Championships will be held on Saturday, March 19, at Sacramento State. It will be the second trip to The Nest for the Spartans this season where they scored a season-high 195.300 on February 19.
