San José State's women's tennis team wraps up its regular season campaign with a trip to San Luis Obispo to face the Cal Poly Mustangs on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
The match is a make-up of the rained out contest on March 6, which was scheduled to take place in San Jose.
The Spartans (10-9) are coming off a commanding win over Nevada and narrow loss to No. 37 Fresno State in their final two home matches of the spring. Tuesday, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its weekly rankings, and San José State's Sybille Gauvain and Marie Klocker checked in at No. 52 in the doubles rankings. The duo is 3-0 since pairing up, including wins over the No. 24 and No. 75 doubles teams in the country.
Cal Poly (3-14) enters the weekend on a three-match skid and loser of 10 of its last 11 matches. The Mustangs are winless on the road this season but 3-4 at home. Molly Reed leads the team with a 7-4 singles record, primarily out of the No. 6 slot.
