Colorado Springs, Colo. --- The results of the 2016 Mountain West (MW) Preseason Women's Soccer Coaches' Poll are in and San José State is predicted to finish second out of 12 teams.A voting panel of the league's 12 head coaches returned three first-place votes and a total of 102 points for the defending MW Tournament champion Spartans.Only the 2015 regular-season MW champion San Diego State Aztecs were picked higher. The Aztecs received nine first-place votes and 119 points.The second-place prediction is a five-spot boost from last year's prediction in the same poll.San José State plays a preseason exhibition match this Sunday at UC Davis beginning at noon.
