Colorado Springs, Colo. --- The San José State men's basketball team will play on a nationally televised stage seven times during the conference portion of the 2016-17 season. The Mountain West and its national TV partners finalized the broadcast schedule for the upcoming year and made the announcement Thursday.Three national television broadcasts will originate from inside The Event Center: Wednesday, January 4 versus Colorado State (Campus Insiders), Tuesday, February 7 versus San Diego State (CBS Sports Network) and Wednesday, March 1, versus Nevada (Campus Insiders)."We're excited to have our team displayed on a national stage, especially at home," said Spartans' head coach Dave Wojcik. "We hope that Spartan fans, San José State students, faculty and staff will help us create a loud and packed environment inside our building in front of the entire country."SJSU will also face San Diego State on one of the ESPN family of networks on Tuesday, January 10 at Viejas Arena. ROOT Sports will televise the Spartans on the road at Colorado State on Wednesday, January 25, and at New Mexico on Saturday, February 4. Another Campus Insiders broadcast will show the Spartans at UNLV on Saturday, February 11.Every San José State game that is not on national TV will be streamed live on the Mountain West Digital Network, which can be accessed all season long via the men's basketball schedule page on SJSUSpartans.com.SJSU begins the regular season on Saturday, November 11 versus West Coast Baptist. Single-game and season ticket information is available through the Spartan Ticket Office.
