Irving, Texas----- San Jose State University football co-captain Tim Crawley is one of 156 semifinalists for the 2016 William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Fidelity Investments in an announcement made by the National Football Foundation (NFF) and the College Football Hall of Fame.

The trophy winner embodies the best football scholar-athlete in the nation.

From the 156 semifinalists, 12 to 14 finalists will be named on November 1. At the awards dinner, the William V. Campbell Trophy will be awarded to one finalist whose postgraduate scholarship will be increased to $25,000.
