ALUMNI WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS TWO-WEEK HOMESTAND: The San José State volleyball team returns to Spartan Gym for four matches over the next two weeks. The Spartans host Boise State this Thursday evening and Air Force on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos are currently sixth in the Mountain West standings, while the Falcons are 11th. San José State begins the week tied for eighth place.
This weekend is also designated as Spartan Volleyball Alumni Weekend. All volleyball alums are encourage to join the Spartan pregame meal on Saturday and attend the match. All alums will be honored between sets two and three of the match, with a special recognition for the 2001 NCAA Tournament Team who upset Santa Clara in the first round of the tournament. ABOUT BOISE STATE: The Broncos enter Thursday night's match with a 13-6 overall record and a 4-2 MW mark. The team is currently sixht in the MW standings after sweeping Air Force and Utah State last week. Sierra Nobley leads the conference in kills with 302 and in kills per set at 4.38. Maddy O'Donnell is the Broncos' best blocker with 87, 1.26 ps.

HEAD COACH Jolene Shepardson: San José State head coach Jolene Shepardson is in her third season at the helm of the program. She has a 25-53 record in three seasons at SJSU, and a 68-100 coaching record in six seasons.
ROBINSON PASSES 1,000 CAREER ASSISTS: Setter Breann Robinson surpassed the 1,000 career assists mark last week when she posted 111 in the matches against New Mexico and UNLV. She had 56 assists against the Lobos to enter the 1,000-assist realm. Robinson begins the week with 1,156 assists in her Spartan career.
FIVE HITTERS, 10+ KILLS IN ONE MATCH: Five San José State hitters recorded 10 or more kills in the same match on September 30. In a 3-2 win over New Mexico, Hana Tresnáková led the team with 16 kills. Nandyala Gama had 15 kills, followed by Latahevai Lousi and Giulia Gávio with 14 kills each and Thaliana Grajeda with 11.
