Women's Gymnastics Signs Two Gymnasts From Arizona

San Jose, Calif.— Nicole Duggan, a Level 10 gymnast from Phoenix, Ariz., and Madelyn Probst, a Level 10 gymnast from Tempe, Ariz., have signed National Letters-of-Intent to compete for the San José State University women's gymnastics team starting with the 2018 season, as announce by head coach Wayne Wright.

Duggan trains at Arizona Sunrays in Phoenix, Ariz., and finished third on the bars at the 2016 Arizona state championships. In 2015, she finished second on the beam and third on bars at the state championships and qualified for regionals where her best finish was 12th on bars. At the 2014 state championships, Duggan was second on the beam and third on the bars and in the all-around.

Probst trains at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Tempe, Ariz. She finished fifth on the bars at the 2016 Region 1 Championships and second on the beam at the 2016 Arizona state championships. Probst finished third on the bars at the 2015 state championships and sixth on bars at the 2015 Region 1 championships. She competed at the 2013 Level 10 Junior Olympics where her best finish was 26th on the beam.

"Nicole and Madelyn will be great additions to our team," said Spartan head coach Wayne Wright. "They bring great skill sets to our program."
