San Jose, Calif. --- Max Meltzer from Aptos (Calif.) High School signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play men's golf at San José State University starting the 2017-18 season. Men's golf head coach John Kennaday made the announcement.
Meltzer was named the league's Most Valuable Player in a vote by the league's coaches and won the 2016 Santa Cruz Coast Athletic Championship. He posted a 12-0 win-loss record in dual matches last season.
Meltzer has nine top-10 finishes in his career on the Future Collegians World Tour.
"Max is going to be a great addition to the team," said San José State University head coach John Kennaday. "I love his work ethic, his passion for the game, and his skills speak for themselves."
