Giving Tuesday - Positive Impact Through Scholarships
San Jose State Athletics is proud to participate in Giving Tuesday, a day designed and dedicated to give back. By making a donation to the Spartan Foundation, you are investing in 450 student-athletes. Funds from the Spartan Foundation help with the expenses of the athletic department that include scholarships, facilities, travel, salaries, uniforms and academic support.
Started in 2012, this philanthropic holiday is celebrated the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving and aims to bolster the work and needs of nonprofits amidst the spending spree trio - Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday is a day celebrated across the country and is a commitment to generosity and charity to start the "season of giving". San Jose State Athletics welcomes all fans, supporters, alumni, family, friends and members of the community to join in the support of our student-athletes who epitomize Spartan Pride.
