The San José State women's gymnastics competes for the second time this week on Friday, January 13, as the team travels to Sacramento State for a 7 p.m. meet in The Nest.
The two teams competed Monday night as part of the five-team NorCal Classic in Berkeley. The Spartans finished the night with a 192.600, while the Hornets placed second with a 194.475 team score.
Two Spartans finished in the top-five at the NorCal Classic. Kaitlin Won tied for third on the floor at 9.825 and finished fourth in the all-around with a 38.600. Rachel Heinl tied for fifth place on bars with a career-best 9.850.
For those able to attend the meet in Sacramento, adult tickets are $10, while Youth (3-17) and Seniors (65+) tickets are $5.
