The San Jose State women's golf team opens the 2017 portion of the schedule this weekend at the Peg Barnard Invitational hosted by Stanford University at the Stanford Golf Course. The team will play 18 holes on Saturday and Sunday, February 11 and 12.
The Spartans lineup is
San José State is one of 12 teams at the tournament - Stanford, Oregon, Colorado, Washington State, New Mexico State, Oregon State, Nevada, UC Davis, Long Beach State, San Francisco, Stanford B and the Spartans.
Update - Satuday's round will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Sunday's beginning at 8:30 a.m. Both rounds will be a shotgun start. The Spartans start Saturday's round on holes 10, 11, 12 and 13, with New Mexico State and Nevada.

Last year, Leander tied for 15th at 147 after shooting a one-over 72 in the final round. The team finished ninth out of 13 teams.
