Day Two Complete Meet Results

College Station, Texas----- Fourteen lifetime bests in four individual events and a third San Jose State University all-time top-10 best time in a relay race highlighted the Spartans' second at the Mountain West Women's Championships.

San Jose State's five divers either had a personal best conference championship and/or a lifetime best performance in the 3-meter dive. Junior Cari Reiswig was second after the preliminary round with a 337.10 and scored even higher in the evening final with a 340.85 for her third consecutive fifth-place in the event. Reiswig was eighth in the 1-meter dive the previous night.

Kylie Fonseca and Natasha Sondeno also scored points for the Spartans in the 3-meter dive with their 17th and 20th place finishes, respectively. Fonseca's 270.80 score was a lifetime best and good for #6 on the San Jose State all-time list. Sondeno's 269.65 now checks in at #7.

Megan Au, who finished 26th with a 252.15, and Eri Tamada, who had an exhibition score of 230.40, had lifetime bests in the 3-meter dive.

"The two main highlights of today would be the performances by our divers and Kate Hanf's performance in the 200 individual medley," said San Jose State head coach Sage Hopkins.

Hanf made it three new San Jose State all-time top-10 marks with her 2:03.65 time in the 200 individual medley. Her time in the event, now #7 on the Spartans' all-time list, was good for 17th place -- the best place finish in the three individual swimming events on the second day of the championships. Jenner Johnson's 40th place finish in 2:09.74 was a lifetime best in the 200 IM for the San Jose State co-captain.

The Spartans opened the February 16 finals with the school's #6-best time in the 200 freestyle relay. Taylor Solorio, Taylor Lehr, Antoinette Loya and Kimberlee Giggey recorded a time of 1.32.95 for eighth place.

The 200 free relay team followed the efforts of the 800 free and the 200 medley relay teams that posted all-time San Jose State bests on the first night of the championships.

Brenna Bushey, Loya, Gabby Heng, Giggey, Lisa Ellis, Colleen Humel and Jacqueline Nissen all posted lifetime bests in the 50 free. Solorio, Bushey and Loya all scored points in the 50 free bonus final for the Spartans.

San Jose State is seventh out of 10 in the team scoring at the halfway point of the championships with 216 points. Boise State vaulted into first place with 605.5. Nevada at 460 and Wyoming at 457 round out the top three in the team scoring race.

The Mountain West Championships continue on February 17 and conclude on February 18. Preliminary heats begin at 11:00 a.m. (CT)/9:00 a.m. (PT) and finals start at 6:30 p.m. (CT)/4:30 p.m. (PT).
