SAN JOSE, Calif.-- The San José State men's soccer program added an eighth member to the 2017 class when All-State forward Austin Schneider signed his National Letter-of-Intent. Spartans head coach Simon Tobin made the announcement.

Schneider, a forward from Kamuela, Hawaii, led the Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) division 2 league in goals and assists last season. He is the second signee from Hawaii in this class, along with Kaleihali'a Tolentino-Perry who signed earlier in the month.

"Austin is a class act with an incredible work rate and has the ability to be a top Division I goal scorer," said Tobin.
