Albuquerque, N.M.----- Cambree Harbaugh in the triple jump and Jade Childs in the 60-meter hurdles each finished fifth in their events highlighting San Jose State University's final day at the three-day Mountain West Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Harbaugh had a jump of 38-feet-10.25 inches on her final attempt for her fifth-place in the triple jump. The junior from Meridian, Idaho made the finals in the event for the first time in three tries.
Childs ran a 8.70 in the 60-meter hurdles. She had scored earlier as the fourth-place finisher in the pentathlon with 3,617 points.
The Spartans finished 11th in the team scoring with 23 points. Colorado State won the Mountain West championship with 102.50 points.
With the indoor season complete, San Jose State begins its outdoor season, March 17, at the Hornet Invitational in Sacramento, Calif.
