SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San José State men's soccer program added a seventh member to the 2017 class when Max Allen signed his National Letter-of-Intent on Wednesday. Spartans head coach Simon Tobin made the announcement.
Allen, a midfielder from Liverpool, England, came to Tobin's attention through his connections with the coach of Allen's club team, the Bolton Wanderers F.C.
"Max can play anywhere in the midfield unit. He came through the academy in England and will offer an extra bit of soccer 'nous'," said Tobin.
