Men's Soccer Christens New SJSU Soccer Field Win An Exhibition Win Over Cal

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San José State University men's soccer team christened their brand new SJSU Soccer Field with an exhibition win against traditional power Cal on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans got a goal from Suliman Khorami and Rory Knibbs to beat Cal, 2-1, in the first match of their spring season.

Khorami's goal was assisted by Carlos Valdovinos.

The Spartans will play three more matches on the new field, against CSU Monterey Bay on Saturday, April 22, Sonoma State on Sunday, April 30 and the alumni game on Saturday, May 6.
