COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- San José State senior My Leander has been named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week for tournaments played from March 4-12. This is Leander's third career MW golfer of the month/week accolade.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Competed in the Meadow Club Intercollegiate, earning her second tournament victory of the season, with a 54-hole score of 5-under 211. The Meadow Club Intercollegiate featured eight golfers ranked in GolfStat's top-100 individual rankings.
• Shot under par all three rounds, while playing at the par 72, 6,167-yard Meadow Club in Fairfax, California.
• Led the Spartans to a sixth-place finish in an event that featured six teams ranked in GolfStat's top-40 and 10 in the top-100.
• Finished the event with 36 pars, 10 birdies and an eagle.
• Averaged 70.33 strokes per round, including a 3-under 69 in the final round.
