With a forecast of 90 percent chance of rain on Friday, March 24, the San Jose State University-Cal State Fullerton women's tennis match scheduled for that day will be postponed.
The make-up date will be Thursday, April 20, 1:00 p.m., at the Almaden Valley Athletic Club in San Jose.
San Jose State's next dual match is Friday, March 31, when the Spartans (7-4) host the Academy of Art University in a 1:00 p.m. match at the Almaden Valley Athletic Club.
San Jose State heads into the match with #1-singles player Sybille Gauvain ranked #74-nationally in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) nation rankings. Senior Marie Klocker gets her next chance to become the school's leader in career victories. Klocker needs one win in either singles or doubles for her school record-setting 133rd victory. Senior Gaelle Rey, fourth on the Spartans' career wins list, can move into a third place tie at 131 with victories in singles and doubles.
There is no admission charge to attend home matches at the Almaden Valley Athletic Club.
