The San José State women's golf team looks for its third team title of the season on Monday and Tuesday, March 6 and 7, at the Bay Area Intercollegiate at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif.
The Spartans are one of 13 teams competing for the title on the par-72, 6,167-yard course. The field includes BYU, California, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, Pepperdine, UC Davis, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Francisco and the Spartans.

Despite hailstorms throughout the day on Sunday, the teams hope to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday with a shot gun start at 8:15 a.m. each day.
In the tournament's third year, the Spartans finished eighth in 2016 and sixth in 2015.
