Volleyball Heads To Brazil

June 23, 2017

The San José State volleyball team travels to Brazil for a once-in-a-lifetime trip June 23-July 4. The team spent the past two weeks practicing their volleyball skills along with a Portuguese lesson each day.

During the trip, the team will be doing community service for the youth of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, learning about the culture of our Brazilian Spartan volleyball players, play against teams that will prepare the Spartans for the 2017 season and make memories on and off the court to last a lifetime.

Here are the Spartans learning Portuguese for the trip.

The Spartans left early Friday morning to begin their trip to Brazil.
