The San Jose State University men’s soccer team seeks its first win of the season, Friday, September 1, when the Spartans (0-1) host UC Davis (1-1) in a non-conference contest. Kickoff at the Spartan Soccer Complex is 5:00 p.m.
San Jose State opened its season losing to two-time defending NCAA champion Stanford, 4-0. The Spartans trailed 3-0 at halftime and managed just four shots on goal.
UC Davis seeks a two-match winning streak after toppling the University of San Francisco, 3-1, on August 28. The Aggies opened the season losing to SMU, 3-2. Junior Matt Beringer leads the Aggies in scoring with two goals and an assist.
San Jose State students are admitted free with a valid Tower Card. Admission for adults is $8.00 and $5.00 for youths 12-and-under. Parking is available in the Park & Ride Lot located across the street from CEFCU Stadium.
