Stockton, Calif.--- Kevin Velo is tied in seventh place after shooting his second round under par at The Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational. The junior shot two-under par in round two, and has a total score of five-under par 139. Velo is four strokes behind the tournament leader Alex Lee of Fresno State.

"He is setting a good game plan, and sticking to it," said Spartan head coach John Kennaday. "He is staying disciplined, and playing well organized golf. He just needs to keep up his hard work, and take advantage of the opportunities that are there."

The San José State University men's golf team is tied for 10th place shooting two-over par on the par 72, 7,082-yard Reserve at Spanos Park. The team is one-over par in the tournament at 577.

Scott Munger is tied in 30th after shooting two-over par in the second round. He has a total score of even-par 144.

Sean Yu is three-over par 147 and tied for 55th. In round two he shot one-over par and climbed seven spots on the leaderboard.

Ben Campbell is tied for 79th at six over par 150. Bryce Wortman is 13-over par at 157.

Leading the tournament is Santa Clara at 14-under par. BYU and Nevada are trailing by three strokes behind the Broncos.

Alex Lee of Fresno State is leading the tournament at nine-under par. San José State's Kevin Velo will look to strike in the final round as the tournament concludes tomorrow. You can follow the live stats and results here.
