Fresno, Calif.----- Brittany Heng and Colleen Humel turned in the top individual finishes for San Jose State University on the final day of Chick-Fil-A Invitational women's swimming and diving meet.
Heng backed up her second-place finish in the 50 free with a fourth-place touch in the 100 free at 52.24.
Humel placed fifth in the 200 back with her time of 2:03.05.
"Today's highlight definitely was our performance in the two relays," said San Jose State head coach Sage Hopkins. "At this point, we've highlighted a few areas to address over the next two weeks before we head to the Pepperdine Invitational."
The 400 medley relay team of Colleen Humel, Jenna Lloyd, Brenna Bushey and Brittany Heng posted a time of 3:52.71 and finished fifth. The 400 free relay quartet of freshman Shona Spikes, Katie McIntee, Taylor Lehr and Heng was clocked in 3:31.69.
San Jose State returns to action Friday, October 20, at the two-day Pepperdine Invitational in Malibu, Calif.
