Colorado Springs, Colo.----- For the second time in four weeks, San Jose State University senior Cari Reiswig is the Mountain West Women's Diver of the Week.
Reiswig set a school record in the 1-meter competition during the November 4 dual meet vs. UC Santa Cruz. Her winning mark of 315.45 surpassed her previous school record of 309.80 set in December 2016.
Reiswig's first-place finish helped the Spartans (1-0) defeat UC Santa Cruz, 230-69, in the team's first dual meet of the season.
The school record holder in all three diving events, Reiswig already has qualifying scores for the 2018 NCAA Zone Diving Championships in March.
San Jose State returns to action the weekend of November 18. The divers are competing in the Lumberjack Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona University. The swimmers will be at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio.
