San Antonio, Texas----- San Jose State University opened the 2018 Mountain West Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with Colleeen Humel setting a school record in the 50 back as part of a 200 medley relay school record time to highlight the Spartans' opening night of the four-day conference meet.
Humel posted a 24.91 leadoff split in the 50 backstroke erasing the previous Spartan best of 25.26 by Heather Denman at the 2012 Western Athletic Conference Championships.
