San Jose, Calif.-San José State women's gymnast Kaprece Nadonza has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for her performances at Sacramento State on February 16.
Nadonza competed on vault and bars in a meet Friday night at Sacramento State with Seattle Pacific. She won the vault with a career-best 9.825 and helped the Spartan vault team to a 48.950, tying for the sixth-best score in school history. Nadonza added a 9.725 on bars for SJSU.
San José state hosts UC Davis this Friday, February 23. The meet begins at 7 p.m. inside The Event Center. Tickets may be bought at the door or through the Spartan Ticket Office at (408) 924-SJTX (7589).
