Annual San Jose State University Athletics Town Hall Set For March 24

March 16, 2018 Athletics Director Marie Tuite, Vice President for University Advancement Paul Lanning and Head Football Coach Brent Brennan will be the featured speakers at the annual San Jose State University Athletics Town Hall, Saturday, March 24.

Tuite, Lanning and Brennan will provide updates and a look into the future on San Jose State University, the athletics department and the football program.

This year's Town Hall will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Gadway Academic Center inside the Simpkins Stadium Center. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is parking across the street in the university's Park & Ride Lot at a cost of $5.00 per vehicle.

For the first time, the annual athletics department Town Hall meeting will be open to all interested in San Jose State University Athletics. Previously, only Spartan Foundation members were invited to attend.

Following the Town Hall, guests are invited to stay and watch the Spartans' annual Spring Football Game in CEFCU Stadium. The intrasquad scrimmage begins at 1:15 p.m. and is the concluding event of a full day of activities at the South Campus.

Prior to the Town Hall, there is a youth football camp and a sports carnival starting at 11:00 a.m., an Easter egg hunt beginning at 12:15 p.m. in CEFCU Stadium and the opportunity to purchase season tickets through the day for the 2018 home schedule of six games.
