Trailing 1-0 in the top of the second, the point at which Friday's game was resumed, Georgia Blair walked and came around to score on a triple to left center by Brittany Aabacherli (1-for-3, 2R, RBI, 3B). Madison Aurin (2-for-4, RBI), who tossed a complete game win, then helped her own cause by lashing an RBI single through the left side. After an inning and a half, the Spartans were up 2-1.

In the bottom of the frame with one on and one out, Nevada's Sierra Mello stroked a double to right center. The Spartans then traded an out for a run on a groundout to second, which tied the score at 2-2 after two complete.
