Four years flew by quickly for San Jose State University women's soccer star Dorthe Hoppius. Known as "Didi," she played on Spartan championship teams in 2015 and 2017, was a three-time first-team All-Mountain West player and earned scholar-athlete awards.
Hoppius is graduating this spring and is one of the first two San Jose State University women's soccer players in almost 20 years to be signed to a professional contract. She will be playing for MSV Duisberg in the women's first Bundesliga, Germany's highest league.
