Recently promoted Brad Sanfilippo was greeted by a packed room of well-wishers as he begins his tenure as the new San Jose State baseball head coach.
Sanfilippo was the interim head coach in 2018 and led the Spartans to a 16-14 win-loss record in Mountain West action and a third place finish in the regular season and at the conference tournament. The Spartans were the best team in conference play the second half of the season winning 13 out 17 games.
