21st Annual Celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day
Thursday, February 8th San Jose State joined the Natioanl wide celebration of the 21st Anuual Girls and Women in Sports Day; during half time at the Men's Basketball game against La Tech.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day

NGWSD is celebrated in all 50 states with community-based events, award ceremonies, and activities honoring the achievements and encouraging participation of girls and women in sports. Since 1986, NGWSD has evolved into a day to acknowledge the past and current female athletic achievements and recognize the importance of sports and fitness participation for girls and women.
Thank you to our coaches and student-athletes for your participation and being a wonderful example of what we strive for as women and as a community at San Jose State University!
