A two-time all-conference running back from Shasta College (Coach Craig Thompson), Oscar gained 1,754 yards in his two seasons at the community,college level. He ranked 13th among California community college players in 1999 when he gained 953 yards and scored four touchdowns playing in just eight games. In the 2001 season, he rushed 150 times for 801 yards and scored eight touchdowns. The graduate of Lassen High School in Susanville, Calif., lettered in football (Coach Tom St. Jacques) and wrestling. His best season at the high school level was as a junior when he gained 1,956 yards and scored 28 touchdowns. Rigg finished his high school football career with over 4,000 rushing yards and was a two-time first-team all-section player. As a wrestler, he competed in the 171-pound division as a freshman. He enjoys reading Dean Koontz suspense novels. Rigg hopes to become a sports broadcaster. Oscar was born in Salinas, Calif., on October 27, 1980.
