Larry is looking to fill a big part of the void in the team’s defensive line unit this season. Dawson was a contributing reserve and short-yardage lineman on the 2000 team. He was credited with four tackles and one quarterback sack. He came to San Jose State after playing his junior college ball at West Hills College (Coach Mark Gritton). Larry was credited with 84 tackles including six tackles behind the line of scrimmage as a sophomore. The graduate of Senn High School in Chicago, Ill., lettered in football. He is interested in pursuing a career with the F.B.I. Larry, a Chicago native and the youngest of the five children in his family, was born on December 13, 1979.
