Mark returns to the Spartans as a center prospect after redshirting the 2001 season. Manning came to San Jose State as a three-time all-league selection at Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He played offensive guard as a sophomore and junior seasons and offensive tackle as a senior. He was named the 2000 Miramonte League "Lineman of the Year" and was a first-team all-county, all-region and All-C.I.F. choice. He enjoys snowboarding and movies starring John Belushi. Mark was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 21, 1982.
