San Jose State University athletics corporate sponsor RBC Wealth Management recently shared its wealth with one of San Jose's most-deserving youth programs - the Bay Area After-School All-Stars.

At the San Jose State-Stanford non-conference baseball game on May 12 in San Jose's Municipal Stadium, RBC Wealth Management presented a $2,500 donation to the Bay Area After-School All-Stars during pre-game ceremonies.

"At RBC Wealth Management, we believe that relationships within the communities that we serve are the foundation of our business," said Phil Castaneda, director of the San Jose branch of RBC Wealth Management. "We are proud of our relationship with San Jose State University Athletics and are excited to give back to the Bay Area After-School All-Stars - a great community organization."

The partnership between RBC Wealth Management and San Jose State University athletics is a product of Spartan Sports Properties - a property of Learfield Sports, the leader in the collegiate sports marketing arena.

San Jose State University senior associate athletics director/deputy director of athletics John Poch served as the executive director of the After-School All-Stars of Greater San Jose from 2000 to 2008 and remained on the renamed youth organization's Board of Directors after accepting his current job with the Spartans.
