Athletics Department Service Day In Spartan Stadium

San Jose, Calif.-----With a month to go before the 2010 football home opener, the San Jose State University athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes took time out of their day for a Spartan Stadium clean-up and beautification project.

            Athletics director Tom Bowen was in the center the afternoon's activities. Debris from the recent cool summer weather was removed, seat back cushions were washed and stored, and light landscaping in the southeast corner of the stadium were among the department's afternoon activities.
