Cleveland, Ohio-----Aaron Dyes, a San Jose State University athletics business office employee, is one of five athletics administrators selected from a national pool of applicants to participate in the 2010 Collegiate Athletic Business Management Association's (CABMA) annual convention in Anaheim, Calif., June 19-22.

Dyes will represent San Jose State University as a first-time participant under CABMA's scholarship program. He has served Spartan athletics in various business operations capacities since 2007. Dyes joined the department in 2006 as an intern and worked in ticket operations and marketing.

The San Jose native is a published professional. He authored the CABMA Corner article for the March 2009 edition of Athletics Administration - the official publication of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.

"Aaron is very deserving of this recognition. Since starting as an intern in the marketing department in 2006, Aaron has been a valuable asset to Spartan Athletics. His skill set continues to grow each and every day. He does not shy away from new challenges and simply finds a way to get things done," says assistant athletics director Matt Witty, himself, a 2007 CABMA scholarship award recipient.

The 2002 graduate of UC Santa Cruz majored in psychology. He earned a master's of science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management from San Jose State University in 2007.
