Bowen Withdraws Name From LSU Search

Tom Bowen, Director of Athletics at San Jose State, has officially withdrawn his name from consideration for the vacant Athletic Director's position at Louisiana State University. According to an official release from Louisiana State, Bowen was one of six people chosen from the initial applicant group who would receive further consideration in their search.

"Today, I am officially withdrawing my name from consideration at Louisiana State. While honored to be among the candidates, I am humbled by the words of encouragement and support that I've received from our administration, coaches, student-athletes and alumni. It is very clear where I belong and that is here at San Jose State. I'm very excited about the future of Spartan Athletics and am looking forward to the incredible culture these coaches and student-athletes are building one day at a time."
