You may see him throw a temper tantrum because he is not one of the 11 honorees in San Jose State University’s 2001 Hall of Fame class. Don’t view him as jumping on the bandwagon after the Spartans’ 40-28 come-from-behind victory at UTEP last Saturday. He will be dressed in his tattered shorts and Spartan game jersey, not in preparation for next week’s trick or treats, but to cheer on the football team Saturday, October 27, when San Jose State hosts Tulsa in a 2:00 p.m. Western Athletic Conference football game.

Nearing the end of daylight savings time and preparing to turn back the clock, a standard time version of George Henderson will become Krazy George for the Spartans’ second home game of the season. George, a member of the San Jose State judo team in the 1960’s and creator of "The Wave," will be waving his tom-tom and exhorting the crowd to cheer for the Spartans (1-5, 1-2 WAC) throughout the afternoon. Tulsa (1-5, 0-3 WAC) is looking for its first conference triumph.
