Carolyn Lewis
Carolyn Lewis is in her 26th year as a San Jose State University athletics administrator. She is the division's senior women's administrator and a senior associate athletics director for internal operations.

Lewis has served the university in a variety of administrative capacities. She was the acting director of athletics from October 1997 to March 1998. Lewis has been the senior women’s administrator since 1991 and an associate athletics director since 1988.
When the school had separate men’s and women’s athletics departments, she was an associate athletics director and head coach for the women’s athletics program. She was the field hockey head coach from 1982 to 1988 and the basketball head coach in 1974 and 1975. Her field hockey teams were nationally ranked from 1982 through 1984.
She worked for the California Interscholastic Federation as a Coordinator of Girls Sports before moving to San Jose State.
Lewis is a 1970 graduate of San Jose State. She earned a master’s degree in sports psychology from Washington State University in 1972.
