Read Across America at Seven Trees Elementary School

The National Education Association (NEA) is a volunteer-based organization supported by a network of staff at the local, state and national levels. With its vision of “Great Public Schools for Every Child,” the NEA designs a nation-wide literacy campaign called Read Across America.
On March 2, Seven Trees Elementary School participated in this program, and Spartan athletes volunteered to celebrate the joy of reading with the students. Their participation included reading a short story, poem or selection from a book to the students and describing how reading is important in any field of work.
