Garrett Cuffel was appointed as a graduate assistant for events and facilities at San José State University Athletics in July, 2013. Now in his second year, he will begin a new graduate assistantship with the marketing department effective August 1, 2014.
Cuffel will oversee video-related marketing, external video productions, and will also serve as the live streaming liaison with the Mountain West Digital Network.
In his facilities and development experience, Cuffel assisted with event planning and game management for all home contests including football and men's and women's basketball.
The San José State graduate earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies in spring, 2013. He will graduate in spring 2015 with a master's degree in sports management.
The Valley Center, Calif., native now calls the Willow Glen area of San Jose home.
