Javier Alcantar

Javier Alcantar was appointed as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at San José State in July of 2017. He is the primary athletic trainer for the Spartan women’s track and field team while assisting with football.
Alcantar comes to SJSU as a proud 2017 alumnus of the University of Louisiana Lafayette where he earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training.
He is now in persuit of a master’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in athletic training.
Alcantar is a native of Ceres, Calif.
